The year 2011 is officially history.
There were many ups and downs that year, but guess we should only take the positive.

Looking on I'm now in the second day of 2012, it seems pretty much ordinary, same like it was in 2011. Just another year older, wiser, +1 ability to think.
At least its 2012 and its time to POP!

3.5 more days of crappy GP and its the 24km march!
Then its one-check-one. WOO!

Kthxbai, I kinda like life now as it is. I was home on Thurs afternoon due to high fever since monday. From Thursday till now it is already 5 days at home. I am just going back to camp for 5 more days. And its off for 1 week. Damn!

Nothing happened at all the few days. I went to my cousin house from 11am till almost 12am. I spent countdown in my own room (which I missed). The next day I went to have a sushi buffet with my family at kallang leisure centre. It wasn't too bad if you want I can bring u there to eat.
At 5plus, Waan came to fetch me, I took over the driver seat and fetched jr and kl over to siglap centre where Waan bought present for Si hui and we had a small chat with jasmine who was working there. After which we had twister fries and ice cream and headed over to her place. The rest played mj and Nel and I just sat at the swimming pool playing with our itouch and phone and having small chats. After which he sent me home. I slept then next day I stayed at home till I booked in.

Hey baby, happy 29th month together.

I just received sms that my buddy isn't booking in till tuesday night. The feeling of going back camp later is really really very sian. But looking on the brighter side, it is going to end soon. It will be Christmas next week, I don't want to spend Christmas without you. But I guess this year I will have to, lets have a getaway this time next year to somewhere further okay? Another few more days in camp and I'll get to celebrate Christmas, then the following week would be new year's day, then POP, then a short break from all the hectic world for us.

I'll have to go over to my cousin's place on xmas eve which is next Saturday in the noon, then going to Si Hui's house, it just doesn't feel the same without you.

Truly all I want for Christmas is you. I hope I can get by this week without any hiccups, I don't wanna still be sick this coming week.

Another day at home. Feels good to be lying on my bed on a Saturday morning. Nothing could feel better than this.

Luckily I did not get my rifle stunned during out field, if not I'll still be in camp now to serve confinement. Nonetheless I'm home and I'm glad everything is over. Now is relax a little till pop.

Finally I am officially out of the jungle. Life is really tough when there is nothing, no roads, no concrete, no nothing inside. Everything is man-made. Your own shelter, your own sit, your own 'ground'.
Man, glad is all over. Thankfully I am able to come out right after my SIT test. Gonna have to book in later though, it is not as bad because I will have bed to sleep on, showers to use and all. I have a little bit of rashes on my leg and feet, hope they'll recover real soon.

It is that time of the year again, Christmas feels so near again, the best time of the year, but baby's going overseas. On the bright side it will be a really fast and furious month, it has already been half way already. 6 days out there and it only rained one day, and it is in december, it did not even rain for one night, which was a really good thing judging from the fact that it was already freezing cold at night.

Well I'm already halfway there. Im left with two major high keys which is grenade tomorrow then field camp cum sit test from Wednesday till Monday. I know life is gonna suck when I'm outfield but I'm gonna hang in there cause its gonna be over soon and I have such an encouraging girlfriend cheerin me on and supporting me in whatever that I am doing. I will not be able to book out so soon but I hope when I come out it will be worry free already because everything is gonna end with Xmas ph and new year day ph round the corner.

I hope my buddy will fully recover and go through everything with me. I don't want him to go out of course. It's really unfair to him.

The most dreaded day is here. Next week is just so hectic. I can't believe 'next week' is going to happen in another few hours time. I just wished I get to spend more time out with you.

When my parents came home, it just made me realised how much I actually missed them, my lovely girlfriend had to wash my clothes and clean my house because my brother is lazy and I don't know how to do it. These are just things that I used to not know it, but I'm going to cherish it now. I miss using a smartphone because in camp its just calling and smsing, basically nothing else you can do.

My buddy has herpes, it makes me worry that I might contract it too because we live in such close proximity and occasionally shared stuff. Now I am worried that it might be on me because I have sore throat, a slight bump on my head. I don't want to miss any high key events for the next two weeks. I just want it all to fast forward so badly.

I shall go and pack my stuff before she finds out and scolds me.
Till then.... I'll try to survive.

So another week has passed. Booked out last night at 8pm. Watched a movie, You are the apple of my eye at 11pm with lovely. Slept around 3plus, woke up at 9plus. Did not want to sleep any more. I'll have range on monday, march on tuesday, ippt on wednesday. Gonna be shagged out for the week, but hopefully everything will be fast and furious and it will be another bookout!

Going out to meet bear later at 6pm. Tomorrow another movie, twilight, then its another night back in camp.

Argh.

I know this is way too torturous, but everyone has to go through the same ol' shit so I only can suck on it. Life was never the same since that faithful day.

Yesterday I had my first official book out. It was one of the best feeling ever, to be able to come out after confinement but it's only a short day and now I've to go back in again. 48 more days till I grad from it and there's nothing I can do. My parents are going overseas this whole week and I'm going over the seas to train. I shall just comfort myself by saying the 2 weeks of confine is over, so just stay on and persevere all the way. My high key outfield are all coming soon. Guess I don't have much time to slack off either. Everyday marching, physical training, running, knocking it down isn't very ideal.

For my friends, now I truly appreciate and cherish every single second I have with you guys. I love you guys.

For my girlfriend, I've never felt like I needed you more before. This is truly one of those times I look forward to every night just to hear your voice. It makes everything feel better. I can't deny sometimes after a hard day, upon hearing you, it makes me weak inside. You're like my pillar of strength, my determination to completing tasks. I love you b.

For my family, I never thought I'll say this but now I know why people inside always say the people that worry about you most are your parents. Every other second their thinking of you, wondering how you're doing, but they know you have other priorities first. Ill take this time to at least remind myself to send my mum a message every night irregardless of whether she's in Singapore or not. I love my family, sometimes it's just too hard to say it.

I'll like to summarize everything up by saying I'm coping rather well inside but like everyone else Sundays are short and it's really dreadful to be going in on sunday night and only be out on a saturday.

So here im penning all my thoughts a little less than 20 hours to enlistment.

In fact, im kind of excited about the whole thing, but to surrender all my freedom now is kind of harsh after all these years. I wouldnt consider myself as very independent but i do feel im independent enough, and this would just be what i need to go thru the first 9 weeks first.

I'll have to go shop on the things i need to buy later, and i really dont know if i would be able to sleep tonight. What i want is to be able to read this after i ord and go like, wtf am i anxious about, its only about booking in and basically serve and fo.

Wonder how it feels like to be away from home for so long, coming back over the weekends and go back to a second home. For now its just full of anxiety, a little of excitement, a little bit of stress, i dont know, i never liked these kind of feelings.

Think I more or less recovered already. My temperature has been rather inconsistent.
I was at 36.9 at 2am. At 4am it went up to 38.0. Then morning I experienced something that made me feel ultra weak, that was diarrhea. I swear I wanted to faint the moment I stood up. But after round 2, I felt well, thought I've been having those slight fever like 37.6, 37.8 but I feel completely well. Well, at least it wasn't 39.5.

Went over to remember my grandparents for both sides, at two different places.

Then I realised how lost I was when I was in that situation.

It was like everything was okay, then her eye was swollen. It kinda made me panicked but I knew I had to keep my cool.
Managed to get her to the doctor's before they closed, it was 940pm. I didn't even realised I sped to the doctor's.

It was orientation, I didn't give her a good impression, but she still ended up falling for me.

Have you, ever in any stage of your life, felt so fucked up before?
-My wireless connection to the internet could not detect my router, hence I plugged it in manually.

-My facebook account has problems login in all the time, account temporary unavailable, I clear cookies, and once in a while I get to access.

-My pay hasn't been in since 9th Sept 2009, gonna fuck them up in a few hours time.

-I transfered $256 into a wrong account, lucky bastard, I have no choice but to suck my thumb.

-My car broke down when I was hitting on the first impression on my gf's bro. He had to help me instead.

-My dad, with suspended license had to go to workshop with that problem, paid $60 bucks to fix the spoilt rubber hose connected to the radiator.

-Happily thinking everything was settled, I had fever last night and I slept fully.

-Woke up this morning all charged up to go school, my temp meter in the car almost hit 'H' and I gotta make frequent stops.

-Went to workshop with dad and everything seemed to be normal. I had a hard time explaining to my dad what was the problem because he was simply too stubborn. I had to prove it on my way home. Yes there was a problem. The awkward silence in the car because I literally fucked my dad up. Had to go back to the work shop.
His friend then sent us back home telling us they will wash the radiator, car will be ready in 3 - 4pm.

-Here I'm all dead tired, all exhausted.

-And oh, I have rashes now. Fuck.

Seriously. Fuck my life. I'm thankful for my good friends, my girlfriend's good friends and my girlfriend most importantly. Okay, my dad and mum included.

Theres something about the happiness and the unspeakable joy.
Imagine 3 women in the car. Your mum sitting beside you, your girlfriend and your sister at the back.
Imagine the noise generated, its even louder than my engine.
But, somehow seeing them shop and preparing dinner was quite a joy. In fact its nice to see them all get along so well.
Steamboat was good, just that Nel and I decided to walk to the hall to watch MJ's concert till there was advertisement then we'd go back to the kitchen to the, oh-with-lub-cooked-food. Ate and walk to the hall again.
Had Ice cream chef after that and then to ECP where we taught teh meow how to drive.
She knows already but just teaching her again.
Dang, I'm impatient, sorry.=(
Then sent all of them home.
It was a good day out, and the feeling of money is certainly good.

I was practically out for a few nights consistently and I think I'm lacking a good bit of rest.
